The objective of the Home Visits & Family Support Program is to ensure that less fortunate and less ambulant do not feel left and forgotten in society.
We provide befriending services and visits to all the institutional homes and keep engaged with the residents there.
This program comprises three stages. The objective and purpose of each stage is listed below.
Stage 1 (New cases)
Initial visit done by Management Committee member ("MC") and Social Worker.
Objectives:
- To gather information
- To determine needs of recipients
Stage 2: (Done by MC & Social worker for existing cases)
Objectives:
- Active participation of MC and enhancement of programs
- Purpose of Reviews.
- Purpose of educating clients
Stage 3: Seasonal Visits by Volunteers
Objectives:
- To provide any other support recipients may need
- To make them feel special
