Mental Wellness Support

Building a Framework for Emotional Well-being.

SIWEC is committed to supporting the mental wellness of individuals and families in our community. Following the success of our Theek Thak awareness campaign, we are now entering the implementation phase of our mental wellness initiative.

This programme is designed to provide accessible, culturally sensitive support for those experiencing emotional distress, beginning with a dedicated focus on grief counselling, an area where we currently have trained volunteer resources.

Grief Counselling Support

Grief can significantly impact emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. SIWEC’s Grief Counselling Support Programme offers structured, compassionate assistance to individuals and families coping with bereavement.

Who This Is For:

Open to all members of the community – regardless of age, background, or faith – who are experiencing grief, emotional distress, or the ongoing impact of loss.

Programme Development

As part of our broader mental wellness initiative, SIWEC is actively engaging low bono and pro bono counsellors to expand the scope of support services. This includes building partnerships with mental health professionals and training volunteers to address a wider range of emotional wellness needs in future phases.
