On 20th December, we completed our latest monthly ration distribution, reaching 50 families and 50 students in our community. Seeing the smiles on their faces, the relief in their eyes, and the gratitude in their hearts reminds us why we do what we do.
Every ration pack is more than just food—it represents hope, care, and a little light during challenging times. 💛
But our journey doesn’t stop here. We’re preparing for our Fundraiser Ride this March, and we need your support to continue touching more lives. Every pedal turned, every dollar donated, and every message shared helps sustain programs that truly make a difference.
On Monday, 15 December, we distributed school bags and essential study materials to 30 Academic Excellence Programme (AEP) students, ensuring they are well-prepared for the new academic journey ahead.
This initiative was championed and made meaningful by our dedicated young and enthusiastic students from Saint Joseph’s Institution with support from our staff and volunteers, whose spirit of service and teamwork truly shone through.
Together, we remain committed to nurturing potential, supporting learning, and uplifting our community—one student at a time.
As they say “it takes a village to raise a child”
You too can be part of our education support program by contributing your time as volunteers, donating to the cause or adopting a family to see to the child’s education!
On 2nd and 3rd December, Sikh Welfare Council (SIWEC) and its team of dedicated volunteers commemorated Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Parkash Purab with the inmates of the Prison Institutions. The celebration is a much anticipated event by the inmates and our team was supported by the head priests from 2 Gurdwaras - Central Gurdwara and Katong Gurdwara.
The priests graced the occasion with the singing of hymns and fellowship through prayer. The inmates were also treated to Karah Parsad and Channa and gifted with the Holy Gutka Sahib to support their spiritual journey.
